Where Are We From?

Now that we know who God is (Our Father and Mother) we can now know about ourselves. We are not who we think we are. It is our spirit that is who we really are. When God created us, it wasn't until God breathed the breath of life into us that we became a living person.

Gen. 2:7 'The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.'
Do you know what happens to us when we pass on?

Eccl. 12:7 "...and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it."

The dust (our body) returns to the ground. We know this to be true when we are buried. Yet our spirit returns to God who gave it.

The word 'return' is only used if you have been there before. However, the Bible says that when the body and spirit separates (when we die), our spirit returns to God who gave it. This must mean that our spirits were with God heaven...
